Bio:	JAK THE LAD are based in Bournemouth, Dorset, and regularly play venues across Dorset and Hampshire. Originally established in 1989, JAK THE LAD has been through several line-up changes and periods of relative inactivity. However, since reforming with a strengthened line-up in late 2003, the band has gone from strength to strength with headline and support shows at some of the South's most well-regarding small and medium sized venues, including Mr. Kyps (Poole), Tripp Late & Live (Christchurch) and O'Neill's (Bournemouth). JAK THE LAD cover a wide range of material from 60s classics Stones, Kinks, Beatles etc.) to 70s blues and rock (Free, Bad Company, ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy etc), right up to punk ( Ramones, Green Day) and indie rock (Dandy Warhols, Kings Of Leon, Fratellis etc.). The common link between all these genres is JAK THE LAD's unremitting energy and enthusiastic live performance. JAK THE LAD are renowned for their energetic and humorous live shows that feature plenty of banter and engagement with the audience.
