Dream Caused By A Hoverfly 2010 Tools: Acrylic, canvas, black ink, paper, scanner, Photoshop & digital SLR camera. Drawing, painting and photographic elements have been combined to create this piece. It was started in 2008 as an acrylic painting and then completed on Photoshop.  The only part of the original painting that still remains is the tiger and fish, which were influenced by a painting by Salvador Dali - 'Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate One Second Before Awakening' (1944). - Which is where the name of my work comes from. Other images were inspired by photographs that I have taken in the last few years, although the figure is not based on anyone in particular.
